Not a good place - what is it with all these identikit gastropubs in islington? they are all the same. expensive average food, bad service, why not go to a restaurant?

i think this place is a smug and boring hang out for snobby breeders

Just about decent place for after work drinks, ok beer, wouldn't eat here I don't think, but that's not what pubs is about

The Crown Tavern, Clerkenwell

Brilliant beers, standing outside here in summer is heaven. Loads of tables outside. Staff are a laugh. Food is standard fare but the drinks are amazing - I love it love it love it.
