The Phoenix, Hazel Grove

why go in here when just outside in the gutter is a puddle that serves better drinks and the grid usually collects chicken bones from sfc which are tastier than anything on the menu and are probably better for you too!!! just because i wear a hat dosen't mean im a scally! some people are are bald and enjoy the warmth and comfort of a hat!! avoid avoid avoid!

The Woodman, Hazel Grove

the best bus stop in hazel grove!! order yourself a rum and coke and from the pool room you can see right down the A6 for for a bus to take you away before the wall paper drives you clinically insane!!!!

The Anchor, Hazel Grove

an absolute gem of a pub (i would say that it's my local) the whole point of this pub is beer and conversation, no pool table or juke box that cleverly keeps all nonces out! if you enjoy a good laugh micky ( dry sense of humour ) and mirriam ( crackers!! just ask about her digital dog!! ) will provide this with a warm welcome and the best kept beer in hazel grove. more sport than you can shake a stick at is shown throughout the three rooms on decent lcd tv's. thankfully not a city or a utd pub (we are utd fans) but a FOOTBALL fans kinda place where the banter is taken well. definateley the cleanest pub in the north west, mirriam obsessed with cleaning, always with a pot towel in hand!!! the anchor also boasts an enjoyable space for the smokers out there, a covered area with heating, chairs n even a table for your pint. could add much more but after writing all this i feel the need to go there right now!!

The Grove Inn, Hazel Grove

one of the better places in the grove this one. the beer is always good and the regulars enjoy a good laugh. the pub games (pool darts table football) are all well kept with no idiots playing on them. its the kind of place you go in for one night and feel welcomed the next. this is a never judge a pub by a single pint and leave kinda place.

The Royal Oak, Hazel Grove

vast pub! vast!! rarely visit the place but when we do we always have a good laugh with the locals. but beware the hell hole (bamboo) is just down the road so weekend nights are probably rife with the "crew till 2" aarrgh!!!!

The Rising Sun, Hazel Grove

Browns, Hazel Grove

i have nothing to say about this pub. mainly because it isn't one! if you want to drink wine on the sofa, do it at home!! the music? please!

Bulls Head, Hazel Grove

just dosen't feel like a proper pub. we've been in once this year and can't imagine any regulars drinking here. not one for me this.

Bar One, Hazel Grove

another vampire of the pub trade. the power of ales compells you!!!

The Lounge, Hazel Grove

the more of these places open the the more the pub trade suffers. if you like proper pubs walk on by.

The White Hart, Hazel Grove

nice pub, friendly staff, dog are welcome, keep them on a lead though as the resident cat has a death wish!!

The Three Tunnes, Hazel Grove

having only gone in before the refurb i can only hope everything has changed.

The Horse and Jockey, Hazel Grove

the horse and jockey can be a bit wild but the landlord keeps the place in check (decent fella). bar staff are freindly and i've never had a problem with the guiness. if you enjoy the hell hole (bamboo) you'll no doubt meet your mates in here before it opens (shame).

The Cock Hotel, Hazel Grove

my dog loves this pub! right opposite benjis pet shop! pigs ears for him guiness for me. don't know why people think the locals are "scary"? i've lived in hazel grove for years and never seen any trouble in here. wouldn't know what the weekend nights are like, far too close to the hell hole (bamboo) for my liking! probably why the reviews below are so bad!

The Bird in Hand, Hazel Grove

we used to give this pub a wide berth, convinced the licencees wanted locals only. gladly things have changed and we pop in now and then to enjoy this quirky little place. if you're utd fans (there are some in hazel grove!) you can have a laugh by listening to the army of city fans talk about how they are going to win the league this season, year after year!!!

The Grapes, Hazel Grove

well worth a having a couple of jars in this pub. freindly and inviting. the only problem i have with this place is the missing fish tank!! bring back the fish!!!
