The Little White Lion, Cobham

Absolutely awful restaurant type thingy now.
What a shame.

The Carlton Arms, Cambridge

What have they done to this place? Used to have a real community atmosphere. A terrible shame that another quality, charming hostelry has bitten the dust. To be fair they've not had a bad go at creating a sort of themed real ale type pub, but it doesn't work. We can only live in hope that a new owner can turn this place back around to what it was circa the mid 1990's.

The Plough, Cobham

Can be very good if you go at the right time. Watch out for pretentious gobbos though pretending to enjoy inane conversation about nothing of interest. Too expensive.

The Little White Lion, Cobham

Not very good at all i'm afraid. Only gets customers at all due to severe lack of other pubs in the area.

The Grove, Cambridge

Remember this as The Snowcat. Good community atmosphere back then. Enjoyed quizes, singers, karaoke, bonus ball etc. Big screen for the footy/horses and handy for the bookies round the corner.

The Old Bear, Cobham

Unfortunately deteriated from friendly local since Scottish&Newcastle sold it to Spirit Group. String of poor managers, incompetant bar staff, poor food and poor range of beers
