Run by partnership. One gaffer OK. The other (Joe) needs a lesson in manners. Pub would be excellent if not for him. Highest beer prices in the area, but not a bad thing as keeps a lot of louts out, as does the over 25's policy. Great place for sport, (if you can gt cooperation from above ignorant gaffer).

Rated 8. Would have been higher but they've taken Sky out due to excessive price charged by Sky. Nice friendly pub, Dick and Stacey great landlords. Shuts too early at weekends !

Used to be a good pub for sport and a pint.
New organisation now means you have to compete with queue of people buying carverys just to get a pint.
No Sky Sports anymore.
To many young lager (and worse) louts, staff and management don't seem to care.

The Saracens Head, Shirley
This pub needs to separate the Restaurant from the bar and keep kids out of the bar, as at the moment it's just a place where chavs can go and get p****d while letting their kids run free.
