The Blind Busker, Hove

Not a bad pub at all. Nice enough place to have a couple of drinks either inside or out on the Terrace. Shows Sky Sports on several screens and usually a good atmosphere (by that i mean non-threatening) when Footy or Rugby is on. Never tried the food, although from what i've seen it looks like it's gone straight from the Freezer to the Microwave then onto your plate (But i guess it's rare to find a pub that serves genuine home cooked food these days). Would recommend.

The Providence, Hove

Horrible. Feels like you are drinking in the type of pubs you get in Railway Stations or maybe Heathrow Terminal 3. Not my thing.

Atlas Lounge, Brighton

Slow service. They went all continental on me and wouldn't let order at the bar.......table service only. Thats lovely when you are on Holiday, but i wasn't. All i wanted was a round of drinks for me and my co-drinkers, without the 10 minute delay. Service aside, the surroundings are nice enough and it has outdoor seating. Maybe visit if you have a few hours to kill and are not particuarly thirsty.

The Duke of Norfolk, Brighton

Nice Pub. Feels cosy in winter and has benches outside on western road in the summertime. It's obvious that the decor is not original, but it's nice enough and much better than many other larger chains who try to emulate the "Traditional Pub" look. Drank the Guinness and it was fine. Would recommend!

Sankey's, Tunbridge Wells

Eccentic quirky bar. If you love big bland chains (Pitcher, slug, all bar one) then you just won't get this place at all. It's a bit grubby, a bit smelly sometimes, but I like it. Excellent selection of beers, possibly one of the best i've ever seen. A boozers boozer.

TN4, Tunbridge Wells

Hmmmmmm, it's ok for Tunbridge wells. But thats not saying much. Takes ages to get served at weekends, but then again show me a pub/bar worth being in that doesn't.....It's not Uber Trendy or cutting edge, more middle of the road. All in all it's ok!!

The Lava Bar, Tunbridge Wells

Smart, clean, good beer and wide selection of other drinks. Nice place for a couple of drinks, but not an all day/night drinking venue. That said the emphasis is on food and the restaurant, so perhaps that's no bad thing. Recommended.

The Pitcher and Piano, Tunbridge Wells

Stitch up & Piano more like....Ridiculous Prices, The place is usually dirty & smelly. The beer is nothing to write home about, and why you would choose to eat here god only knows. It is home to the dull Aspiring Middle Class type of punter. If you work in Recruitment and you dream of one day owning a BMW you will probably love it here.

The Albion, Hove

Bit of a Boozers Boozer. But if you're up for a bloody good booze then get on down there. Not a bad place for a Saturday Afternoon Booze in the winter time. You'll never bump into any birds worth chatting up, but in a way thats one of the reasons to get yourself down there.
