Manor Farm Barn, Southfleet

Went here after being at the neighbouring farm for their halloween display, and it ended the evening perfectly.
The food was great, the service superb and the pub itself was a hidden gem.
Will definatley go there again

The George and Dragon, Swanscombe

I have drank in there on a few occasions and have always found it a pleasant enough. Friendly staff, good beers and decent decor.
Few rough diamonds in there but they don't bother you and they certainly do not spoil an enjoyable evening. Most pubs in swanscombe are like a jeremy kyle show waiting room, this at least seems to be a proper boozer, not a single mothers social club

The Green Man, Longfield

Took the family here one sunday for dinner, booked a table a week before, turned up on time, and could not get parked in the pub car park. Found a street to park in, and walked to the pub. Got a drink, let staff know we had arrived and they called us that our table was ready. We got up, waited 10 mins, then told table was not ready and we would have to wait. Then a member of staff announced there was no beef or lamb! We were again told our table was not ready and we decided to get another drink. After a wait we decided to go elsewhere.
The barman was on his own for long periods, and he did a great job, but he was being swamped by the number of people. The booked reservations seemed to mean nothing as if you turned up you were given equal preference. A wasted phone call.
Go for a drink and have a great time, just don't plan to eat there, you might be disappointed.

Bitz and Pizza Sportz, Bluewater

VERY slow service, the barmen were to busy flirting with young girls to actually do their job. I went there before going to the cinema, and only had one drink due to bad service.
Has potential, but you need barstaff who are willing to serve everyone, not dribble over any group of young women

Blue Anchor, Swanscombe

Terrible pub. The customers sum up the word chav, tatoos, swearing and benefit cheques being spent on alcohol. Thats just the women. Uncontolled feral children wandering around the pub while the mother and 'partner' get smashed.
Ask the staff for a drink, and you get a dodgy look for putting them out. You must understand that they were speaking to the scroats, and should not be disturbed!
Only constructive thing you could do is to smart bomb the place.

The Prince Arthur, Lee

I went to this pub at 10pm on new years eve 1989, and there were 10 people in there!
In 1991 a new owner took over and decorated it. For a while I thought it might be a good pub. Good staff, friendly publican, good regular crowd. It did not last, the publicans mates got to be regulars, and they would spend all evening swearing and cursing at full volume. Me and my mates were taking our girlfriends there, and although you expect some bad language, this was unacceptable.
The next owner fancied himself as a 'gangsta' and the new customers were baseball capped knuckle draggers.
A total waste

The Edmund Halley, Lee

Appalling pub. The reason people tend to drink at home are down to boozers like this.
I went there with my wife, and we had to wait while local soaks got served before us, even though we were waiting first! The staff have tended to be different on each of the occasions I have been in there.
The toilets are up a seemingly endless set of stairs, and I would not fancy that trek after a heavy session!.
Lee needed a decent boozer, but this pub is a great excuse to stop drinking altogether.

The Sun, Swanscombe

Considering that the Blue Anchor is just up the road, I have always found this pub to be friendly, and the staff has never been slow to serve you.
The customer base tend be cheerful, and there is always friendly banter.
All in all, one of the best pubs in swanscombe.
