Upmarket pub with upmarket prices. Pleasant enough staff but somewhat snobby clientele. Good to see a bar without television blaring out so that's a plus. However not sure who its aimed at, a bit too expensive for me though.

Empty souless pub with little going for it. Not particularly friendly or welcoming so won't return.

The Crown & Anchor, Eastbourne
Another month. Another manager. This has a great location on the seafront but is no different to any other bar in Eastbourne. Big TVs showing sport, transient customers and not particularly welcoming. When will this town get a couple of decent pubs. Not everyone wants a pint with televisions blaring football commentary.

Busy local bar with a good range of beers and ales. Considering its tucked away down a side street its incredibly overpriced and is possibly the most expensive in Eastbourne. A shame but someones being greedy.

Expensive and unfriendly. Most people seem to go for the menu which is apparently good but very pricey. Indifferent staff and over �7 for 2 pints of lager which wasn't of high quality. Won't return.

The previous comments are spot on. Toilets are awful, with no locks and sometimes doors falling off. Staff are surprisingly friendly but has an image problem. Small selection of beers but can't decide if its a restaurant, wine bar, cafe or pub. It doesn't work but there is somewhere there somewhere.

Oh dear. My opinion of Wetherspoons decreases each time a visit a new one. Totally indifferent service and staff who can't cope. Very unwelcoming with dodgy customers and poor quality beer. Pass it by.

I always judge a place by its toilets and those in here and possibly one of the worst I've seen. The usual chavvy crowd of council estate yobs. How anyone can eat in here I don't know. Exceptionally slow bar staff.

Full of dodgy wedding reception guests from town hall over the road. Staff rude and indifferent. A bit poncey and unwelcoming.

Funny old boozer with a mix of locals and staff from the nearby prison. Expensive bar menu and a cost of �7 for a bitter and lager and lime. Not encouraging.

The Beachy Head, Eastbourne
Considering this is a main tourist spot, this establishment should be ashamed of itself. Customers three deep waiting to get served with many giving up and walking out. Something is seriously wrong here and it reflects poorly on the town with visitors. Shocking service.
