The Swan, Horning

This pub just gets worse, i as a local use this pub from time to time, which has got less and less over the last few months. Friday 30/12/2009 we went had an ok meal but service was shocking. To top it all off a girl, member of staff off duty, was rolling a cigaratte up over food being served to customers. When we complained to the manager about this we were barred for life for causing a scene. what ever next for the swan inn...............................

New Inn, Horning

What can i say about this pub. As a local i go in every friday for a drink after work. Tonight i have to say i feel upset and let down by the attuide and the service of the staff. I go in have my two pints with my work friends and go. Today, every table was reserved for the diners coming for dinner. At 5.30pm i asked very nicely if i could sit at the reserved table, the table was reserved at 7.30pm, and i was told no. When i explained i only wanted a drink the lad behind the bar told me just go and speak to the lady over there and walked off. I undertand the need to reserve tables for dinner but two hours in advance!!! Dont know how i now feel about this place now but its got bad attuide staff, poor cusotomer serce and bad table planning. Do your self a favor and think twice if you want a drink and hopefully in the winter months the landlord might get his head round the fact the drinkers are just as inportant as diners.

The Dog Inn, Ludham

This is a very strange pub, it has a really good location and an excellent business during the summer months. Its in the heart of the Norfolk broads and does very well. However its very dirty and has no real welcome. The range of ales are good and the beer is ok, however if you go, you will have to see pass the decor and the awful toilets and the smell of stale dust and old carpets. The food is very basic and takes a while to get to you and when it does the food is less than good. But it has a good market as there is nothing around it on the broads. Think is says something tho, as out of season there are only a handful of locals who keep it going. I have heard its on the market to be sold, good luck if the new owners get it.

The Swan, Horning

nice country pub, part of the brewers fayre, yet still keeping all customers happy. Got a great selection of beers and good friendly staff who are happy. Only down side is the managers who run it are not the most "Mine Host" you have ever meet. A smile would be nice but dont think it will happen
