The pub came highly recommended and looks nice from the outside but the bar staff were slow, I had Addlestones cider which wasn't that nice when others nearby serve the excellent Stowford Press. Not bad but would choose it over the King's Arms.

Very nice country pub, beautiful building. Well kept ales and very friendly staff. Food was nice if a little pricey. Unique "dining pods" are also being developed. Traditional pub with modern touches. Spot on.

The Hatchet Inn, Sherfield English
Not a bad pub, food is excellent but I did not find the staff particularly friendly. Good selection of ales. Garden is nice but more like a children's playgorund, and the marquee does not quite fit in. Reasonable.

Best pub in Caterham. Cosy and comfortable, with some interesting historical decor. Excellent.

Nice pub, good selection of ale and a symonds cider, rare on draft. Inside is lovely. Food a bit pricy.

The Lord Palmerston, Carshalton
Very nice country style pub. Excellent secletion of ales, as well as Stowford Press cider and Blackthorn on draft, the only pub in the Sutton area that still does it I'm told. Friendly staff too.

The pub is looking much better and the atmosphere is really good. New manager Lee has made it far more homely with a roaring fire, better decor and food served in the evenings. Worth a visit.

The Deramore Arms, Heslington
Since its refurbishment, the pub has far more character and a good, busy atmosphere. Good selection of ales and a scrumpy cider, Weston's Old Rosie. Very good.
