Now changed hands yet again, Neal and Laurence have the pub running smoothly with fantastic food in a traditional pub setting.

Really great pub, excellent selection of well kept beer, large beer garden out the back superb food, I'm glad its not my local or I'd be in every night !

Hold your breath, this place is changing hands at the end of Feb, so no food at present and gorgeous Kimberley the super barmaid has gone off to Greece :-( Hopefully the new couple that are coming in will get it back to its old self as soon as possible.

This has recently (Nov) had a change of management and it is miles better, Food is now excellent, the Harveys is back on and there is a friendly and knowledgable landord, together with a gorgous barmaid ! (Fri/Sat night). Excellent.

Great selection of beer including Timothy Tailors Landlord, Black sheep and Harveys, 3 top beers, shame its so smokey.

Ignore the comment about local stag parties I've been going to this pub three times a week for the last 18 years and I've never seen a Stag party once, I think someone is trolling and sorry but no voluptuous landlady either, just good beers, a friendly atmosphere and great setting by the river.
