The Cork, Welwyn Garden City

Has changed to The Two Willows now. Management still the same.

Not a bad place at all. Little bit on the small side and certainly not cheep but worth a try. Bar staff very pleasant.

The Attimore Hall, Welwyn Garden City

Visited this pub 10 years ago with my Father. Encountered yobish louts in the beer garden who were in my opinion under age. There seemed to be a lot of under age drinkers that night. Not impressed at all. Might give the place a second chance given some good reviews below. Looks like things have changed thank goodness!

The White Hart Inn, Bristol

A little rough around the edges but generally friendly atmosphere and helpful staff. Often I meet my brother there for a drink. Not a bad place for a bite to eat either.

Bristol Fashion, Bristol

One of the best places you can hope to go. I love the place.

The Crooked Chimney, Welwyn Garden City

I didn't think it was to bad. Nothing to write home about but not as bad as some places in WGC. Now I wouldn't go and mention the Cork would I? Well, I am blind and my GF too. We ended up sitting with a girl who was sat waiting for her boyfriend. She took my GF up to the bar and brought her back to me. It was a nice thing to do. People there seemed very friendly. Might even go back.

The Fairway Tavern, Welwyn Garden City

Very nice, classy place. Great view of the GC and live music. What more could we ask for?

Doctors Tonic, Welwyn Garden City

I don't agree with a lot of the comments here. It's a nice place, good atmosphere, cool lady in charge and nice food. Perhaps people would care to remember what it was like before it became The DT! Enough said?

The Cork, Welwyn Garden City

It's a while that I visitted the Cork but I was not impressed on many counts. Rude impertanant bar maids was the main problem. Once I dropped into the Cork still waring my football shirt. A rude bar maid started yelling at me to get out. As a matter of fact, I'm blind and had put the shirt on unintentionally. I drink at the Golf Course now where they treat me properly. This bar maid doesn't work at the cork any more but I will never go back. If she just happens to stumble upon this review, I would like to say "Good luck with your stinking attitude. Sad nobody tort you any manors".
