The Edinboro Castle, Camden

Went for a drink in here on a nice sunny sunday afternoon. Nice pub and garden but it was a bit unwelcoming and they definetly need to pull their fingers out behind the bar- about 5 staff behind the bar and still waited a good 10 minutes to get served when there were maybe 3 other people waiting maximum, all my friends had similar experiences. Ended up having sunday lunch which was OK, bit of a ropey piece of meat though. Wouldn't hurry back, staff a not too friendly either.

O'Neills, Holborn

This place is great for a very late drink. Quick, friendly service and well kept beers. Don't know what it's like in the day but all good at night!

The White Hart, Holborn

I actually take back what I said below. Went in there the other night, took 25 minutes to get served on a reasonably quiet Saturday night despite having about five bar staff on, most of which were standing around talking to their mates. Got told I couldn't have any change for the fag machine and got our pints taken of us at about five minutes after time was called. Staff were slow and rude to all of my gang, think they were all unhappy about having to work an extra hour till 2am. There are other pubs in the area with a late license now which me and my folks will head to instead from now on!

The Museum Tavern, Bloomsbury

I think this pub looks stunning from the outside but is a bit of a disappointment inside. Staff are good and beers pretty good but just can't help but feel it's a bit grubby. Not my favourite in the area although keeps the museum tourists away from the better pubs!

The Plough, Bloomsbury

Nice enough pub although there are better in the area. Staff are very friendly and service has always been very good when I've visited. Suprised this pub gets a bit of a slating on this website.

The Bloomsbury Tavern, Bloomsbury

Best pub in central London. Excellent beer & great food, always see regular faces, worth visiting just to take in the atmosphere. A fine example of a great British boozer.

The White Hart, Holborn

Lovely pub and good food. Staff are not that friendly and lacks a bit of atmosphere but well worth a visit especially for a late night drink as their open till 1am at the weekend.

The Crown, Bloomsbury

Usual Sam Smiths cheap, nasty beer. Nice pub though and friendly staff.
