The King Street Tavern, Southsea

Been in this pub several times and the only good pint i have had is the irving frigate.
The landlord tried telling me that the henrys tasted funny because it was a new barrel.!!
Most of the time there is no beer at all.

You have a choice of great ales but also need a word with the bank manager to see if you can afford such prices!!

Leopold Tavern, Southsea

One of the best pubs on our pub crawl. 6 ales and stowford for the wife. Only downside is that they dont do food.

The Phoenix, Southsea

Seemed a very locals pub as this sranger found out as he walked in and it went very quite. Decent ales. The smell of dogs does let it down though.

The Fifth Hants Volunteer Arms, Southsea

I see some comments say that is rough and not as good as it used to be. When i visited it was fine, yes full of lagerboys but not a hint of trouble. Ale wasnt great but the jukebox is one of the best i have come across.
