Shrimpers darling! I like to go into a decent pub get the drink I ask for and sit in pleasant surroundings having a chat - you obviously like to visit sh*t holes like The Hope - lets just agree to disagree! Plenty more far better pubs in Carshalton for me to visit.

The Racehorse has improved a lot lately - good food and pleasant bar staff. They just need to refurb the main bar area and put some nice seating etc and this place would have a huge boost in customers. At present it is very drab and outdated.

Cant believe the below reviews about this place - it is a complete hell hole! As soon as you walk through the door the stench hits you. The place needs to be completly gutted and refurbished. Asked the barman who looked about 12 for a white wine spritzer and he gave it to me in a pint glass with a straw! As for the ignorant/rude and obnoxious girl with dreadlocks well what can I say apart from she spends most of her time in the car park shouting at the mums doing the school run for parking in the car park - excuse me love since when is this dump so busy that the car park is full! should have kicked this lot out and turned it into an Indian Restaurant!
