Great local with good beers, live music on Fridays, nice restaurant with good views over towards the Peak and brilliant friendly landlord and landlady, Pete and Shirley.A proper local with appeal for those on a drive out looking for a good feed and a pint!

New owners (Nov 09). Bringing live music occasionally to this lovely "proper" pub in a lovely setting. We are planning to bring a folk/ acoustic night there next year, probably on Wednesdays, watch this space!

New folk and acoustic night, starts Wednesday 27th January 2010 at 8.30 pm. Thereafter every last Wednesday of the month. Microphone/Amp free zone! Players and singers wanted, or come along anyway if you just want to listen!
