Simply the best for real ale, with informed bar staff who instinctively know who's next! Food a bit iffy but who cares with this superb team of enthusiasts.

The Rose and Crown, Trent

This may be out of date but visit in august was a shambles. possibly the worst service, food and beer i have experienced for years. tragedy as the building and location plus history of the pub deserves so much more.

The Red Lion Hotel, Marston Magna

Have been visiting the area weekly for 3 months, this is a super pub, excellent real ale, friendly, clean, good basic food and enthusiastic team in charge. Decor is idiosyncratic from previous owners but a refreshing change from theme pubs.
