The Duke of York, Heaviley

The only real ale on draught seems to be Robinson's Unicorn.

The Boar's Head, Stockport

Excellent range of Smith's drinks - It is a shame that staff can be snotty for no reason whatsoever, not to mention early closing at random.

The Bakers Vaults, Stockport

Terrible absence of real ales, which is the reason one might find staff members in the Railway on Portwood.

The Smithfield Hotel, Manchester

This pub always seems to be closed, irrespective of whichever Saturday I visit - I hope it has not become one of the many real ale pubs to bite the dust.

The Marble Arch, Manchester

Beers are home produced and exceptional - No sign of this pub disappearing in the medium term as it is a listed building. Make sure you try the Marble Ginger and the Lagonda.

The Arden Arms, Stockport

Food is excellent; also one of few places in Stockport that offers Robinson's double hop on draught. Children are allowed in the beer garden, which is a bonus for me.

The Railway, Stockport

One of the best range of beers in Greater Manchester (they even brew their own Porter's range). The food is reasonably priced. The only draw back that springs to mind is that there are no children allowed, not even in the beer garden.
