The Royal Albert, Crystal Palace

very lively pub with some decent beers.

The Railway Tavern, Carshalton

lovely pub with a lovely garden and some well kept beers. very nice place to go with family.

The Royal Standard, Croydon

It's true that it has the best beer in croydon, and also that it has the best pint of London Pride for a fair distance in any direction. if you don't like Fuller's ale, however, it's not so great. the small lager and cider selection is rather pricey (Magners 3.75 a pint)

great atmosphere insdie and a lovely, tucked away beer garden. wtch yourself in the carpark outside though.

THE BEST PUB IN CROYDON

The Bulls Head, Croydon

nice pub with nice staff and decent locals, but crap jukebox. i would probably go there more often but the Royal Standard with it's 4 ales is only 30 seconds away.

The Black Sheep Bar, Croydon

very good music on the tuesday and friday nights, cheap booze.

The Half and Half, Croydon

the best place to drink on south end. brilliant continental beers, and there's always something interesting to try. staff are some of the friendliest i've met. should not be missed!

The Two Brewers, Croydon

very freindly staff and regulars, brilliant beers, atmosphere. the best pub between croydon and crystal palace

Clifton Arms, South Norwood

quiet except on matchdays as it's right by Selhurst Park. London Pride was well off form, but it seems to be one of very few places to serve it.

William Stanley, South Norwood

the ale is always well kept, and the atmosphere is ok, but it attracts weirdos. the food usually takes ages to arrive and is often the wrong thing. average pub.

The Ship, South Norwood

good beers, good staff and fantastic garden. it looks nice too.

The Alliance, South Norwood

nice enough inside with freindly staff. Abbot is the only ale. the regulars are a bit eccentric and the jukebox can get a bit loud, but the tunes are mostly good (classic rock) it's very well decorated with old pictures of the pub and surrounding area.

The Albion, South Norwood

went in there the other day. the place was dead, and it served no real ale.

The Albert Tavern, South Norwood

A nice pub with a good atmosphere and well kept GK ales. it's not special but it's better than most other pubs in the area. very busy on matchdays and fridays, weekday evenings it's comfortable. the bar staff are always friendly and the food is ok. there's pool and darts, quiz nights and meat raffles and they have a football team. a nice pub for a decent couple of pints in the evening.
