The Fleece Hotel, Bingley

NOW CLOSED - mercifully as there was nothing good to say!

The Old White Horse Inn, Bingley

After an awful makeover by the last landlord (1960's furniture in a 17th century coaching inn!) the pub has unsurprisingly CLOSED. It could be a gold mine if it returned to it's old world roots (like the Old Cock in Otley) and served a wide selection of real ale. Sadly that's not likely whilst Enterprise Inns own it!

The George, Cullingworth

The George has had a sympathetic makeover after closing a few years ago. It acts as the brewery tap for Old Spot and serves a full range of their ales (6 available on visit). The food is the real highlight though with a fantastic menu and reasonable prices.

The Old Library, Bingley

The pub has reopened after having had a large makeover. The inside is very smart and serves a good selection of reasonably priced real ales. Unfortunately, it is trying to compete against the local Weatherspoons with low prices a key factor. This has helped attract some interesting characters to the pub!!! The afternoon we visited there were 3 (very drunk) men stood at the bar and every other (loud) word was f@ck, p@ss, f*ck, sh@t, etc.! A shame as it could be a really good pub!

The Midland Hotel, Bingley

The Midland has been renamed "The Locks" but is still pretty much the same. It is a large "SKY Sports" type pub with plenty of screens to watch the big matches. The pub mainly attracts a younger clientele with a typically large range of lagers and bottled beverages.

The Sparrow, Bradford

Fantastic bar serving great real ales, ciders, craft ales and bottles. Friendly with a European café bar feel to the place. Almost perfect!
