The Royal Standard, Portsmouth
This is what real, local pubs used to be like. Small, friendly, chatty, with an atmosphere of its own. About as far from an anonymous chain pub as you could get.

The First Post, Cosham
A good place for anyone who doesn't want any character in a pub. Full of people topping up on cheap beer till their dole money arrives.
