Rodboro Buildings, Guildford

Good food all day, cheap beer- what you'd expect from a 'Spoons. Probably the best pub in Guildford town if you're in a large group and want to sit down together.

The Red Lion, Aldershot

Nice cosy pub a short walk from the football ground, but definitely not a rowdy football bar when I visited.

The Trent Inn, Radcliffe on Trent

Great food- well priced, well cooked, and great portions. Good servicee from waiter who remembered all our groups orders without a notepad- even getting the changes to the standard menu right. Big screen TVs in the bar area showing the football earlier on were a welcome bonus.

Chancellors, University of Surrey

Visited Chancellors for the first time in a long time and was quite impressed. The refurb (finally!) happened this summer and the result is a sleek, clean, modern bar which will definitely be worth a visit if the sunshine shows up next summer :)
Oh, and the beer's cheap too.

The Mill at Elstead, Elstead

Lovely pub in picturesque surroundings. Good food and well served beer, we will definitely be going back.

The Coliseum, Abergavenny

Nice pub, no problem with a group (14) of us sitting together despite it being busy, good cheap beer and the usual 'spoons food. This was the first pub on our Abergavenny pub crawl and we ended up staying there all night.

The Atlas, West Brompton

Not the cheapest pint in the world, but not bad for a London gastro pub so close to Earls Court exhibition centre. Menu looked good and made me wish I hadn't already eaten

The Weavers Arms, Guildford

Visited this pub (now called the Apple Tree by the way) on Saturday evening to watch the England football game. Friendly atmosphere, comfortable furnishings and quick service.
