The Punch and Judy, Tonbridge

A fairly nice pub, but at 12.50 for two vodka red bulls (shared can) I won't be going back. Prices like that might keep out the riff raff, but with Spoons down the road, who needs to?

The Primrose Inn, Tonbridge

Well, I used to drink here when I was younger. The geordie who ran the place (Now working at the Cardinal's Error) was welcoming and friendly, and as long as we kept out of the way of the locals, we were alright for a few pints. Having turned 18, I'd not gone in here for a while until the other week, when I met the new owner for the first time. What a rude, nasty cow! I was surprised at how rudely I was "greeted", with a massive scowl and a grumpy tone. I would guess she's like this every 28 days or so... The husband (who reminded me of Cletus the incestuous Texan from the Simpsons) was just as cold. Unless the pub (which is nice inside and serves a good beer) changes hands again, I don't think I'll be visiting.

George and Dragon, Tonbridge

Excellent pub. Darren keeps his beer really well and the atmosphere is lively. Best place in town to watch a big game, and a good boozer for a quiet pint in the evening.

The Plough Inn, Hildenborough

The Plough is a gorgeous, nostalgic old pub in the heart of beautiful Kent countryside. It has a cavernous barn which does great food and hosts parties, weddings etc, and a lovely garden with play facilities for kids. I've been for a few 18th birthdays there and the staff are friendly, the pints are decent, and there is a lot of space.
In the pub/restaurant section, a really smart interior is let down a little by small tables. However, the food really is excellent. I've been there countless times and only ever had one poor meal.
I would really recommend this pub, and we have always been given a warm welcome there.
