The Bull's Head, Barnes

Great Thai food and Sunday roast. Bar staff and management are superb.

The Sun Inn, Barnes

The current low rating is very odd. This is a really friendly pub, staff are great, beer and ale selection is good and wide ranging.

It's in a great location and the fact that it's family friendly and welcomes dogs is something to be applauded.

'Our cordial is prcied to discourage undesireable clientelle. Why would one charge 20p and fill a table with a small spending crowd? One would loose money.'

Hmm, you come across very pompous. In most people's books, 'undesireable clientelle' are those who drink too much alcohol, not the soft drinks. Potentially discouraging families and designated drivers by overpricing cordial is just daft as the majority of punters still drink enough booze to keep your till ringing.

The Angelic, Islington

Love this pub. Landlord has got a good atmosphere going in this place. Nice relaxed crowd, decent staff, good music.

The Famous 3 Kings (F3K), West Kensington

This used to be a great pub to visit until the old landlord left.

The new landlord seems to have a penchant for annoying his paying customers as much as humanly possible. Been in there several times and it's always something different i.e. Not being allowed to sit on a stool when watching football on the big screen (even if the pub is nearly empty) meaning you have to stand for 90 mins and being given some rubbish excuse about fire safety, even though they've always allowed it in the past.
His insistence on showing Eastern European football matches that no-one's watching when everyone is getting crushed trying to watch the rugby on a few screens at the back.
I'm not saying the customer's always right, but everyone I've spoken to says the same thing about the new management. That'll be 20 thirsty punters that spent a lot of money yesterday that will find another pub during the 6 nations that will be grateful to take our money. He may not care, but if enough people do this, he might take notice.
