We love this pub. Some say that there are two pubs in Polruan but we know that there is only one.

We had a week in Polruan back in july & enjoyed it so much that we decided to have another. During our first visit we ate & drank in the Russell inn which as i have allready said was excellent but this time we thought we would branch out & try the other pub BIG MISTAKE! this is a local pub for local people, The food was awful as was the beer & we were not made to feel welcome in any way.They may be very popular during the summer months due to location but once the season is over you've had it.

This pub has recently changed hands & i must say what an improvement. The menu now is realisticly priced with a good selection & the beer is very well kept, all in all a very friendly & warm local Cornish pub

The Blisland Inn, Blisland
I like this pub & have been coming here for years but it does need a lick of paint. I've never had the food & to be honest on my last visit the beer wasn't up to much, lots of choice but probably not selling through fast enough to be kept in tip top condition,could do better & has done in the past.
