I have been visiting this pub for the last 6 years, for a meal and meet up with friends just after Christmas. It's a 70 mile trip to the pub.I come from Bedfordshire and the others from just outside Bristol,well worth the trip. We were there last Sunday.
Many thanks to the staff, we had a great time and great food. And I am a fussy type.

Had a meal there last week with my son. Great meal, as we would expect from this pub. Did notice it was very under used. I put this down to no drinkers/smokers at the bar. This was great for me as previous visit there for a meal was spoilt with smoke in the bar/dining area.Of course the meals are good value but not cheap.

The Queens Head, Ampthill
I have lived in Ampthill for over 20 years. I have seen this pub when it was under previous landlords. I now like it and I like to think of it as my local.
Nice small, older style, friendly staff and good beer.
