The Golden Cross, Harvington

This pub is my local so I'm going to be slightly bias. This pub was ok under the last landlord Nick but since Denise and Richard have taken over it has improved. There is a good atmosphere, decent beer and good food. On a tuesday there is an all you can eat for 5.

The Bell Inn, Salford Priors

Glad to say the Bell is a vast improvement over its previous incarnation. 4 real ales being served and were very well kept on my visits.

The Bell Inn, Salford Priors

Pub went downhill fast and finally closed. Due to reopen shortly, just hope its better under the new owners than it was the last.

Dick Whittington, Gloucester

Visited yesterday dinnertime, the place was fairly busy with lots of people on their way to the rugby. I had the North Cotswold Winter Solstice which was just starting to go off and a pint of Bath Festivity which was one of the nicest beers I've drunk for a long time. Food was good too, its just a shame I don't live very close to Gloucester or I'd be in there more often.

Fountain Inn, Gloucester

Went in yesterday, I had the Freeminer bitter and my mate had the St Austell tribute unfortunately they were undrinkable. I only hope we caught the place on a bad day otherwise I can't see them keeping customers for long.

Hogshead, Wolverhampton

Went in saturday afternoon and the service was quite quick considering it was busy. Enjoyed a nice pint of hole hearted a pint of old curiousity and a bottle of grolsch weizen, great pub I can thoroughly recommend.

The Old Restoration, Cheltenham

Recently re-opened after a major refurbishment , its a lot more modern looking and clean. Ales are still on sale as well as a good selection of other beers, i can certainly recommend this pub.

The Wellington, Birmingham

Great pub with an exellent range of ales from breweries all over the country, a range of ciders also available and no crap lagers like carling or stella.
