I went there for the first time 23/2/13 at lunchtime they have three ale pumps and the ales are fine they also tell what is coming next i did not have meal but the food look nice. The are reasonable priced and very friendly pub

Went there 30/12/12 a very nice and friendly pub good ales did not eat there but food looks good.

stop there on my way back from Winchester good ales only three pumps but worth a visit.

if they know you are driving they will only let you buy one pint which i thing is wrong

The Red Lion, Mortimer West End
Found the pub charming and nice beers, prices are a bit high, there is a log fire which gives it a homely feeling, have not tried the food.

The star has reopen and is a very friendly pub it is open for the next 2 years but anything can happen
