Before I lived in the area I would go out of my way for a few drinks at the weekend. When I moved into the area it was bliss especially in the summer.
Now that they've changed management the food is rubbish, There's no more chips with Bloody Mary ketchup and after seeing what WAS being served up to the dismay of the clients who had been waiting for a meal, the food on offer now looks pretty bad. I didn't even bother ordering. The drinks on offer are nothing to write home about and gone is the lovely selection of bottled Aspall's cider.
The rating I have given this pub is only because they haven't changed the name.
Back the Spaniard's!

I sometimes stop in at the world's end for a quiet drink after work with a couple of friends. I won't be doing it any more though. After giving this place several chances, it just seems to be getting worse.
I ordered a pint at the main bar which cost me �3.70. (WTF!) When I went to get the next pint at the smaller bar, I was charged �3.30. What the heck is that about?
The bar staff at W.E.C are rude and really can't be bothered. I had to walk around the bar TWICE to catch the attention of the barman who saw me standing there but chose to ignore me. When I went to walk to his side of the bar, he moved and quickly went to the other side. He did this twice! The people sitting down having their drinks saw what he did and by the looks on their faces, they were not impressed with him either.
BAR STAFF, I didn't leave you a tip last time I was there, but now I'm going to leave you two:
1: If you don't like people and you don't like giving good customer service, DON'T WORK IN A PUB! You give the place a bad name.
Get a cleaning job. Maybe you can start with the pub toilets, they are absolutely filthy.
2: Please get into the habit of bathing DAILY and putting on CLEAN clothes. The junkies and bogus Big Issue sellers that frequently harass your customers smell better than you do.

This pub used to be quite good, but now it's crap for the following reasons:
1. They no longer have live music acts
2. The bar staff are rude
3. Dirty pint glasses. I had to change my glass TWICE before I got a clean one. The girl behind the bar blamed it on the dishwasher, I didn't believe her as the glasses clearly had not seen the inside of a dishwasher in some time.
4. No soap in the soap dispensers (would you eat in a place that has no soap in the toilets? Think about it!)
5. I've seen the staff sell alcohol to people who were already very drunk.
6. The toilets have not seen bleach in years. They are disgusting. Very poor hygiene.
Very sad indeed as, like I said, this used to be quite a nice pub.
