Nice pub, typical Sam Smiths place I'd say. Can get very quiet later on midweek.

Great local pub, friendly staff, good beer and great pub food. My fianc�e's grandparents live nearby so I go quite a lot, a highlight of the trip normally!

Great pub, very friendly staff and a lovely location (I may be overly influenced by going there on the first sunny day of the year). Good pub though, expecially with the lack of other decent places in Clapham.

Strangely cramped for such a big pub. Lots of interconnecting rooms means there's not much space to sit down. However overall I'd say a nice place, though the beer selection is fairly limited.

Good pub/restaurant. Food was very good and not expensive for London. Steak particularly good along with smoked haddock chowder. Service was friendly and attentive. One drawback is that the eating area is quite cramped.
Wine was slightly disappoiting.

Very unusual - interesting wine shop with restaurant attached. Choose your wine, take through to the restaurant and feast on cheese and pate. In two cellars underground - good place to hide in. Quite expensive.

The Pepys Bar at the Novotel Hotel, Tower Hill
Presumably the comments below were written by the owner or something. Very dull bar in a Novotel, it is just as you might imagine. Go elsewhere.

The Royal Oak, Clapham North
My favourite pub in Clapham, very nice staff, excellent food and a great atmosphere. Can get very busy when the sport's on.
