George III Hotel, Penmaenpool

Called in a couple of times recently whilst on holiday in Barmouth.
Both times the beer was excellent (Purple Moose). Service was a bit slow due to the numbers in the bar and especially sitting outside enjoying the splendid views and weather.
Lots of cyclists and walkers wanting teas and coffees contributed to the slowish service but as the only rush was to get back over the bridge before 6:30 we weren't too bothered.

Tal Y Don, Barmouth

Plenty of seating inside and out. Beer garden out the back. Jennings Cumberland was ok, as was the Marston bitter. Food was decent on the night we ate. A decent pub all things considered.

The Last Inn, Barmouth

Stayed in Barmouth twice in the last couple of months. The Last Inn was our local. Pedigree is still a bit hit and miss, but ok on the whole. Selection of beers a bit limited, usual lagers, Banks Bitter, a not much else. Very busy when we were there, but weather was scorching. Couldn't get a seat early evening as they were all reserved for diners. Live music onTuesday, folky musicians everywhere.
