Of course, some might argue that it was a better place when Karaoke Caz, Claire, Clive or whoever wasn't there.

I am indeed talking about the girl with black hair - well said Steve!! Perhaps I caught her on a bad (very bad) day - but she was pants when I was in there.
As for my pint - I don't remember sharing it with anyone, let alone a Monkey, but as I did leave half of it - perhaps TheBeerMonkey finished it off.

Went past over the weekend. Big sign outside advertising their very own 9 hole 'crazy' golf 'course'............WOW I thought and kept on going !!!

In there last night. Would be nice if the Bar Staff were trained before being let loose on Joe Public. It was clear that one of them was not familiar with bar work (though she tried hard - Bless) - of course she was left on her own for long periods, so getting a drink took rather longer than it should - even though the place was hardly heaving.
Very little atmosphere - bland decor - few chavs playing fruit machines and some dreadful piped 70's music. Not one to recommend I would have to say!!

Well said Mr Davies !! The toilets are amongst the worst I've had the misfortune to encounter (with the exception of the Shakesphere over the road). As for taking your kids here - that sounds like a case for social services methinks.

Wouldn't ever call this establishment a 'pub' - grotty hole perhaps. Beer (ok tepid fizzy stuff they serve here) not as cheap as some might suggest either !!

Look up the words JD Wetherspoons in a (picture) dictionary and you see a picture of a huge pile of shi*e.
However, this 'establishment', is one of the jewels in the JDW chain - a complete fuc*ing sh*t hole. Everywhere is sticky and dirty, the staff have no idea where they are - let alone have the first idea of how to pour a pint - my lager was flat and warm, the place smells and the toilets are a disgrace.
Apart from that I thought it was great !!
0/10 from me (which I think is generous to be honest)

Should be called the Sh*t & Shovell Worst pint I've had the misfortune to be served for many moons.
Barmaid was about as interested in changing it as Tony Blair is stepping down as PM.
Won't be going back !!

It is now open again (as of Friday 11 August) - looked fairly empty as i wandered past - but the cheese on the bar was a nice touch !!
