The Half Moon, Stepney Green

I was with DME that afternoon and I was the poor git trying to get served! I know Wetherspoon's tactics regarding beer, but not to have a single real ale on tap was bloody awful! If you like nitro beer then good for you but I prefer something with taste, thank you very much. And I won't be calling again.

PS - also been drinking Old Peculier this afternoon at the Plough at Warmthorpe - doesn't help my grammar but it's worth a visit as well.

OK - bit late but I have to say that the landlord's decision to take out the eminently drinkable Dry Blackthorn Cider and replace it with Bulmers was anathema to me. No pub in the city centre has Dry Blackthorn now (if anybody knows differently please post a message) - we appear to have drifted into Strongbowland - the blandest rubbish available. First taste refreshment my a**e!! Bulmers is slightly better but still too sweet. For anybody wanting decent cider go to Fernando's where you can get 6.0abv @ �2.75 a pint - sorry can't remember the name - still too drunk and amazed about Trinity's fightback in the last 10 minutes against Hull KR. 4th? - get the oyxgen out!! and get down to the Catalan's game a week on Tuesday
