I go here pretty much every Thursday lunchtime with my class from college (theres 8 of us) as food is better here than at Merton college canteen. Not bad food, pretty good service, altho the ale range is very limited its like Old speckled Hen or John Smiths or larger. I usually take the larger as the ale isn't kept very well!

Good selection of german beers, it was like being back in Germany. Also sell some potent beer kept in the fridge Innes and Guns or some something like that, don't really remember but it was like 8.4%. That stuff blows ur mind and is sold in small bottles for the obvious reasons. Good music altho I had a long wait queuing for the bar.

This pub is excellent. Very friendly staff, fantastic food, a real ale club where members get discount, discounts for nhs workers, discount for over 50's ithink its called a gold card. Ales kept exceptionally well and also changed regularly so evey time I go in there, there is always something new to try. Definitely recommend!!!!!!!!!

Went here for the first time about 2 weeks ago. Looked good from the outside so had a gander. Nice layout, very friendly staff, keep their ales well, free wi-fi. Good food and like a reward or loyalty card scheme. On this visit I could not find anything wrong although it was a sunday afternoon. Would like to see what it is like on a Friday or Saturday night...

Wow this pub is AMAZING!!!!!!!!! went there last night with a friend and we both were saying how nice the pub was, the outside beer garden is nice and spacious and had a marque like tent up with seats inside. The bar staff were friendly and knew what they was on about in regards to the ales, which I was informed were rotated every couple of months. Thank u for a great evening =D
