Excellent!
Although they could do with a few more staff.
Good food and lovely atmosphere.

The Lounge, Newcastle

Lovely pub but do expect a few cheers of 'rah rah rah we're going to smash the oiks!'
Everyone in here acts like they own a luxury yacht!
A bit flash and it gets very busy.
The music appears to be nothing but Jazz, mmm nice and the DJ occaisonally plays the bongos (?)
Having said that I will go back.
:-)

The Bacchus, Newcastle

This is a great pub!
Brilliant atmosphere and often filled with the pre and post theatre crowd.
I can't comment on the beer but the vodka is good!
Good place to while away a few hours!

Pack Horse, Burnopfield

I thought this pub was very nice and its clearly very popular since it was packed when I was there!
I haven't eaten there so I can't comment on the food.
Good atmosphere. Parking adequate but not brilliant.

The Ferry Inn, Salcombe

Excellent location especially in the summer when sat outside!
Good basic pub grub. Don't know about the beer but the vodka was excellent!
Could've sat here all day!

Belle Vue, Low Fell

This place is awful. The average age of the punters appears to be 18 going on 12! Its badly designed and not user friendly!
The staff are surly and the customers are often too angry for words - my advice is to give the place a very wide berth!

The Aletaster, Low Fell

This is a great pub. Its a throw back to how pubs used to be before franchises got hold of them and ruined them!
The beer/ale is very good, the staff are friendly and the atmosphere is iviting and warm.
A visit is highly recommended.
