Lots of good things I like about the GD. Good music, live bands, boards games and such and good meal deals (esp. breakfast). Good things come to those who frequent the Green Dragon, my mate Bollo swears by it.

The bouncer Pawel threatened to kick the sh*t out of me when I questioned why I needed I.D. to enter the bar despite the fact that i'm 30 years old. Pawel's superior proved equally helpful when I refused to move until i could take Pawel's details. Its another sign of Croydon's demise when you hire thugs to keep decent people out of bars, surely it should be the other way round. Its an outrage...

This pub would be nothing without the quiz, I hear they're even getting rid of that. Tried to charge me �4 for a pint of Diet Coke, we settled on �3 but I don't expect to have to haggle..the 'excellent food' promoted by the management below is not all it's cracked up to be.
