The Railway Hotel, Cheam

I was back here over christmas and the pub was as good as it has been for the past three years

Ye Olde Red Lion, Cheam

I was back in the Red Lion over Christmas and everything was fine. Beer is well kept and well priced, food was good, inexpensive, plentiful and timely. No problem bringing my 14yo son in this time either.

The Ramblers Rest, Chipstead

Overpriced food and many mistakes made by serving staff, albeit quickly and politely rectified. Bill was 40 quid overstated but they changed it
Definitely overrated and only worth going to for the location

had a nice inexpensive family meal here on Boxing Day. Bar staff fine. Pricing and atmosphere good

The Bell Inn, Cheam

very modest quality pub

Toby Carvery, Ewell

maybe mickmuncher should stick to chip butties as his username suggests. As ever a fine meal and drinks at a good price when we visited Toby Carvery the other day

The Dolphin, Sutton

Not a bad pub, I like the Rock band on Fridays. Courage beer is modest but the Guiness tasted fine

The Grapes, Sutton

I am so pleased that this pub is now a decent Spoons. Open til 12 which is a bonus

The Oxted Inn, Oxted

Nice enough place to eat and drink especially if you are on a budget

The Red Barn, Lingfield

Pretty good. Nice cider on draft and food was fine. Olde worlde refit is a bit naff

The Well House Inn, Mugswell

Very nice, friendly, decent clientelle and the Shere Drop from Surrey Hills Brewery is inspirational

This place continues to improve

Ye Olde Red Lion, Cheam

Went back this summer but could not be served, even in the garden, because I had brought my 12yo son and it was after 8pm. What a crime! I have previously had this problem with The Prince of Wales locally but other Cheam pubs were not so pedantic and got my business instead

The Chequers, Walton On The Hill

Nice pub and good food but I dont like the refit. We preferred the old bay windows

The Harrow Inn, Cheam

Used to be nice, even when it became a Big Steak pub, but the refit a few years ago is horrible. The atmosphere is now young chav. Nice building, I used to like the old panelling

The Railway Hotel, Cheam

Pretty good. Management are decent

Ye Olde Red Lion, Cheam

Not as popular a pub as it used to be years ago but not bad. Nice building, and I really appreciate the good quality inexpensive Youngs and London Pride on offer. Staff are OK

The Prince Of Wales, Cheam

nice garden and good beer but the female manager/owner is less than friendly. There does not seem to be a clear policy on children, even in the garden. She usually refuses to allow my 11yo son in the garden yet nicer staff members have even invited him inside. I prefer the Red Lion
