The Bell, Odiham

What was a cracking little boozer has been ruined by the grumpiness of the landlord and his wife, it's as if they don't actually like people and despise them for having the temerity to come into their pub and ask for a drink!
Will be a much better place once they move on.

The White Horse, Parsons Green

The beer is superb and the food generally quite good, but the staff can be an absolute nuisance at times. Surely it's better to spend good money on a few quality staff than a pittance on a glut of muppets.

The Old Ship, Hammersmith

A good pub that serves good beer. Food's good too, but unfortunately ruined by them serving horrible sachets of sauce rather than the real thing. Even the vinegar is in a sachet! This gives the place an unwelcome pikey feel, similar to eating in a Berni Inn...I imagine.

The Antelope, Belgravia

What was a good pub has been marred by the arrival of a landlord who'd, it seems, be happier doing anything else but. T Taylor was offensive, so were the staff. Big sandwich menu on the wall. 'Sorry, we haven't any', was all they had to say...at 1.30pm!

Won't be going back.

The Clubhouse, Twickenham

Certainly a relaxing boozer with a warm, homely feeling. Lots of locals who like to enjoy a lingering look at new faces, maybe they're wandering what kind of a golfer you are.

Beer is perfectly good, but the food is sub-standard and badly presented. The staple dishes of bangers & mash, burger and chips and sandwiches are lazily put together with a dash of microwave and a pinch of deep fat-fryer. Not recommended. Eat elsewhere first!
