Lovely pub with good food, but make sure your not starving hungrey when you order as we waited an hour and half for our meal. Apparently it is even worse on a sunday.
However nice place for a drink.

The King Edward VII, Stratford
Definately the best pub in the area, good beer& food , friendly staff and generally a warm welcome feel.

This used to be a really nice friendly pub with good food. But is has been taken over by a miserable woman who is rude to customer and her staff. She even theartened to charge a customer for water when she asked for a second glass, although they were eating.
The menu has not changed much but the quality of the food has changed. It is such a shame i used to be a regular here but since the new mangament have taken over the atmosphere has changed and a lot of the regulars have stopped going.

Now the Britannia it has managed to shake off the Chavs and changed to a nice familly orientated pub during the day and music /food in the evening. i think it is been taken over by the same people behind the Griffin in Shoreditch.
They have had teething problems but now seem to have it just right except the food is quite expensive although it is good. As it is a large pub it seems empty expect on hot days when it is packed due to beer garden. Recommended

One of my favourite pubs, friendly staff ,with good selections of beers and wines.
The food amazing and very reasonably priced.

Great pub in a good spot nice to sit outside on a sunny day but the staff are so rude and be warned they don't take card and it is about a 10 min walk to the nearest cash point.

Really nice pub good atmosphere. But the food is well overpriced and not worth it.

The Golden Fleece, Manor Park
Great pub in a good spot overlooking the flats, decent beer garden and friendly staff. What more could you want ?
