The Abbey Inn, Leek

Pleasantly surprised to see the Abbey taking on a new twist and entering into the takeaway Market. They now offer a good range of pub grub for take away and even delivery! To top it off, as well as delivering food now, they can also deliver bottled drinks from behind the bar! Great idea! A great traditional pub that's adapting well into the modern age with great up to date ideas and a good website of it's own too!

The Roebuck, Leek

The Roebuck was purchased by the Titanic brewery which was announced in local press on 8/6/2011. Although not open yet, it's expected to re-open it's doors soon, apparantly catering for all ages. More information can be found on local news websites.

The Knot Inn, Rushton Spencer

A nice traditional pub next to the old rail station (the old rail line, lifted in the 60's now serves as a popular walking route to leek). Nice friendly staff, good food, a very popular Sunday lunching spot offering a good variety of both food and drink. Nice cosy pub in the colder months too with an open fire. A well kept nice traditional place well worth a visit.

Den Engel, Leek

Great bar with a very wide selection of beers, lagers, ciders and other drinks. Den Engles offers a wide variety of continental drinks. There is also a restaurant upstairs (still yet to try it but the menu looks good). A nice popular venue with friendly staff, the place is very well kept. Not the cheapest place in leek, but certainly one of leeks best bars.

The Abbey Inn, Leek

Not a bad pub at all. Nicely located in the countryside just outside leek and a walkable distance too. Nice selection of drinks and excellent food at great value prices. A nice classic pub with friendly staff offering a friendly environment for all including families.

The Engine Room, Leek

Definately one of leeks better pubs, decent size place, tidy with friendly staff and decent food too. This is one of the barracuda chain and has a standard menu which offers a good variety. Only issue is the numerous occasions we've been in and they've run out of half the dishes on the menu. So availability could really be improved, otherwise not a bad place at all.

The Cock Inn, Leek

Not a bad pub, located in the town centre, relatively newly refurbished with friendly staff. Food could be a bit better but wasn't too bad, not sure whether I'd eat there again in the near future but definately a decent stop for a drink. A good place to call in on a pub crawl, nice tidy place with friendly staff.
