The Baltic Fleet, Liverpool

What a fantastic old pub this is. The pub-brewed Wapping Stout is worth trip in itself. Good pub grub at reasonable prices. A perfect escape from the over-priced plastic tourist palaces on the docks.

The Dysart Arms, Bunbury

Good but vastly over-rated. Good restaurant but only an average pub serving weaker real ales for the many foody drivers.

One of my favourite pubs. No pretention. Fantastic range of ever changing real ales in good nick. Friendly and reasonably priced.
