Nice enough pub, used to spend my lunch hour out on the benches, but could probably do with a few more seats indoors as it sometimes a bit of a scrap to get a seat (especially of an evening). Reflux is just upstairs, which is just plain classy if you like your 80's tunes, but is always heaving of a weekend.

Massive pub, that always seems to be heaving. Big with the clubbing crowd at the weekends, so can be a bit of a nightmare to get a seat. Drinks aren't badly priced, and although theres no tunes.. the place a atmosphere of it own of a night.

I really love this pub, its got great atmosphere and its the perfect hang out for people my age. Big fan of the pound a pint night - definitely one of my favourites. Not to mention the jukebox has some class tunes.

The Minerva, Southend on Sea
Been here a few times, and I approve. The metal nights of a friday are brilliant if your into that scene (mix of young and old alike). Fairly quiet during the week, though no a bad place to go if you want a few good tunes.
