Went in to The Old George and had a pint a few times and always see different beers on. 3 ales offered this time was Greene king ipa. Penguin rockhopper ruby and ringwood old thumper. Tried all 3 and all top quality as was the staff.

What a shame.Even the regular thursday night Karaoke custommers are moving round the corner to the Racehorse.

Has now changed back to the previous Management.Food is being revived and of excellant quality served most evenings too as is the choice of real ales now numbering 4.Ramblinden they even have the Harry Satcher Trio back this friday

Who is this wolf pratt. I've eaten many a meal there and if he can't tell the difference between home cooked and micro cooking then he probably eats at weatherspoons. I have contempt at these jokers.

Pub open and business as usual. Had a lick of paint and a good clean up. 4beers on pump will be the norm.

Saw the new licensee today. Been bar manager for many years. Will be running as normal along with the chef and his girlfriend. The big rude lady has gone along with Julian the previous owner. Lots of work going on.Must see when finished. Should be open thus Wednesday.

Thursday night pie and mash night �3.95. Eels �1.50 extra. Lovely. Even had on cotleigh Nutcracker mild.

Yes the food at the Greyhound is overpriced Pigswill.
Better to try the Racehorse round the corner. They have a good range of homecooked food and do cheap offers on a couple of evenings.

What happened. Went in lunchtime yesterday. It was a ghost town bar. Only had spirits no people. Overpriced on lager. �3.58 for standard lager. Food standard pub fayre for cordon bleu prices. �30 for mothers day lunch. Unbelievable.

Busy this morning. Smashing beer on. Mayfields "Auntie Myrtles" 4.5%. Food brilliant. Homemade Brawn and whole grilled plaice. Brilliant. Worth a visit.
