I cannot confirm this myself as I was not there, but a relative went to the pub last week and the service was shocking.
As she was leaving, she got speaking to a load of guys in the smoking area who said they worked for the landlord and the pub was brilliant, but his mind was elsewhere.
So there you have it. I want to give the pub a 10, but on the basis of one third party comment it looks like it needs to pull its socks up.
Common guys you are better than this!

The best pub ever.
Tony and Janet work really hard making it work.
Picture postcard canel setting, good food and quality service make this pub a 10/10.
Keep up the good work guys!

The Angel, Hindon
Totally brilliant pub. We were probably the clients from hell, bringing in two tired kids and being indecisive.
The service we received though was brilliant. The food was top notch and of more than ample portions - blimey we struggled! The beer was great.
The ambience was perfect and it had that lovely but slight essence of burning wood from the fire. Traditional and slightly contemporary look to the bar.
Could not fault it in anyway.
Cannot wait to go back.
