Pretty decent Italian wine bar type place but a couple of real ales on the go. Can't afford to eat here.

Pretty impressive drinks range here. All sorts of lagers, and some pretty good ones at that, including Sierra Nevada lager. A few ales, and the price of the lagers makes the choice of buying ale instead pretty easy. Not really a pub for great atmosphere as it is gastro orientated these days. But it has to be better than the rough dump it used to be. Decent menu for eating out so i'd give this pub around an 8 out of 10. But the price is off-putting. If I remember correctly a pint of Budvar is 3.50.

Management are a bit off and food prices ridiculous but good beer.

Not great beer but open til late! Tapas style of food and the beers include Kronenbourg, Fosters and Sagras on tap.

Yes guys - This is now The Three Pigeons not closed! No point asking the people in charge to change it as they never bother... Anyway I ate here last weekend and the food is pretty decent, back to the tradional english food and the pub now serves 6 real ales which is better than the 2 they served when it was the Farriers. Still, despite the change it feels to much like the restaurant, not a place where you can take your time over eating.

Despite a few negative comments the food here was actually pretty good - although the vegetable curry was very poor value for money. Too many people here queuning up to be especially enjoyable but would be nice on a quiet day. No real on was especially disappointing but an ok pint of Staropramen.

Pretty disgusting venue - seemingly a students bar rather than a pub. The gentlemens room has not been seen to in years and the cubicle is broken, this is not good enough. Given the state of this tip I won't be eating here until it is more hygenic. Sheperd Neame beer is at least ok, but the noise in the background ruins any atmosphere.

This is a great pub and the Jukebox is cool. The currys are tasty.

Was hoping to eat here on Saturday 10th October, but the menu did not provide a very interesting list of meals. Shame because this place could be great.
Beer tends to be Wychwood Hobgoblin and Greene King IPA.
Personally I love this place for its location rather than anything else.

Greene King pub so make what you like of that but this pub actually has some pretty good real ale with the usual suspects of IPA, Abbot Ale and also Hogs Back T.E.A.
The good here is excellent and it is best to get here early to eat because it will get crowded and noisy especially on a Friday or Saturday.
Meanwhile if quizzing is your thing they have a regular quiz night every Thursday.

This happens to be one of the best pubs in town. There is something going on most nights of the week at the Stoke.
On Monday nights there is a 2 for 1 pizza offer. While once a month on Wednesdays some of the best comedians shall be performing.
Beer on offer tends to be London Pride and Old Speckled Hen, with guest ales also frequently available.
Only gripe would be the gentlemen's room which has seen better days. Used to be a pub quiz on a Tuesday but not running anymore.
