The Punch and Judy, Tonbridge

The good: The beer (especially the Harvey's) has always been great whenever I've popped in. The staff have always been pretty good too.

The OK: There has been some progress on the decor with much of the faux Irish tat removed.

The bad: The gents toilets are in need of some attention - I can't help being reminded of 1970s football ground facilities...

Overall: Much better than the average in Tonbridge.

The Cock Inn, Luddesdowne

Strangely, part of what makes this a great pub is what it doesn't have - no children in the bars, no fruit machines, no TVs. What it does have is fantastic beer, both in choice and quality.

Contrary to a couple of other reviews, I've always found the place very friendly and welcoming too.

Never eaten more than a sandwich there, but the hot food always looks good.

The Windmill, Gravesend

Completely agree with Dogbolter and Sunshinedan. One of maybe 3 pubs in Gravesend worth visiting. Good beer, homemade food (lunchtime only I believe) and a great garden.
