The Imperial Bar, Castle Douglas
Last time I had a drink here was 1977. With my Father, James Connor, my brother, Ian Connor and myself, Philip Connor. My family lived in Dalbeattie. I live in Detroit, USA now. Anyway, it was a good place then.

Good Pub but I haven't been in since 1970 when I lived in Wilmslow. I live in Detroit, USA now. I'd like to drop in sometime but it's a hell of a walk home.

Used to use the Folly from 1968 to 1974. Left the Island in 1980 and now live in Detroit,USA. It used to be a great place and I'm sure it still is. Dave Boxall, Joss Boxall, Ian Connor, Kevin Hambley, Bob Gladdis, Bill Gough, Mick Cook, George Lacey and many many more. Wish I could just walk down the lane and have a couple of beers.
Cheers

I haven't been here in a long time but I used to bring my kids here in the garden twenty five years ago. An absolutely delightful place. I now live in Detroit, USA. Which is nothing at all like Longparish

The Mayfly was the first pub that I visited when I moved to Andover from the Isle of Wight in 1978. I left Andover in 1989 and now live in Detroit, USA. This place is absolutely magic! Good beer, good, service and an absolutely perfect location. Nothing better that sitting next to the river test in the summer, watching the fish, with a good beer in your hands. It doesn't get much better than this.
Greetings to all my old friends

Bryan and I would like to thank all of our customers, old and new who turned out for our Grand Opening on Saturday. The entertainment was great and the place was packed until 3am. If you haven't been to the Chevele before or even in a while, come and check us out and see the changes

One of my favorite hangouts of all time. Spent many happy hours here from 1978-1988. I now live in Detroit, USA and own my own place called the Che-Vele Sports bar. Whatever happened to Graham Nosworthy?

The Haunch of Venison, Salisbury
I believe I first visited the Haunch around 1978 and have had many a happy evening there. However, I now live in Detroit, USA which is somewhat different from Salisbury. I can't believe that the atmosphere is gone. This buiding has many a tale to tell. I often think I'd like to drop in for a pint, maybe next year.

The Hatchet Inn, Sherfield English
One of my favorite pubs of all time. I used to go there a lot (when I could find it) from 1978-1988. Just mind your head the doorways are very low! I now live in Detroit, USA and own my own pub. Had some really good times at the Hatchett.

The Ship and Castle, East Cowes
This used to be a great pub when it was The Robin Hood and run by Jock Elliot. Used to drink in there from around 1968-1980. Went back once since it changed names in 1994 only to find Bill Gough working behind the bar! Has the world gone mad? I live in Detroit, USA now.
Greetings to all my old friends
