Great oasis just off the Royal Mile tourist strip. Don't appear to do real ale, but the Guiness is fine. Quirky hours and closed Sundays, but that adds to the charm.

Three of us eat here at lunchtime and all the dishes were very good indeed. Good solid pub food well prepared.

This is a good down to earth pub that is becoming increasingly rarer to find. Very good service and excellent beer.

The Farmer Inn, Catherington
Visited on 2 May. Place was empty. The London Pride was excellent. This pub is clearly at risk if the locals don't support it. Use it or lose it!
