The Harp, Covent Garden

Very busy, but understandably so.
Great range of beers available and very knowledgeable staff on hand to serve what you want, if you get overwhelmed by the sheer numbers of ale on offer.
Tried a number of beers I'd never heard of and all were perfectly kept; my friend had Guinness, and said it was the best he'd had in central London for a long time.
Seeing as this is only a stone's throw away from my office, I'll be back and dragging along anyone who'll let me.

The Greenwich Union, Greenwich

Nice place. Pretty much all Mean time Beers, but bar staff are friendly and knowledgable enough to help with your choice, and are happy to give you a sample of everything on tap. All the beer is very well kept, and my "Cranberry Stout" came up exactly how you'd want it to. Only draw back are the prices, a little too pricey for my pocket. Went in on a Sunday, late lunch time and it was packed, no chance of a seat for around 30 minutes. Once we managed to squeeze our selves in, we ordered some food. Fish and chips were pretty average, but my other half ordered the beef and stout pie, which was HUGE and very tasty. Will be back to try some other beers, and some of the other items on the menu

The New Cross House, New Cross

Been here twice since it opened and both times have been great.

Plenty of decent beers on tap and in the fridge, and some good wines on the list as well. The in house beers are great, and it seems they change what's on tap fairly regularly.
The pizza's are top; freshly prepared and top quality ingredients.
Sevice was great too - when it wasn't busy, the bar staff would come from behind the bar to give table service, all with a smile!
This will soon become a regular of mine, and from the looks of things, it will be a number of other people's too
