Am a new user to this but use this pub all the time, I think you all need to get lives this thing is like Facebook, so I have seen, and it seems to be used to leave nasty comments by obviously people with nothing better to do. Go out and get lives instead of sitting on your computer and writing these pointless comments. I dont think I am going to waste my time in future on this site.

Anyway I like that pub and the people that work there so I wont stop using the place beer is good and weekends are great, and if you have nothing better to do then to listen to what is being said behind the bar then good luck to you

I dont believe this would have been the case, to the extent you are implying 'slaging staff off!' I dont believe that if any comment were made it would have been for ur ears, so why listen?! Maybe you as a customer are slightly nosey!

I agree with who am I use another pub Redjohn! In regards to the new manager, she has always been very nice to me and all the people I drink with, there must be a reason behind this comment, maybe the staff member wasn�t listening or a customer behaving badly?? I think you should think about what you are writing first.

Oh and Mandraker there wasnt a very serious incident BEHIND this pub, it was in the abbot car park between a group of homeless people.

Red john very interesting comments, you seem to have a little vendetta against this place, I wonder if you are one of the people that are not allowed in here since the old management has left?? I am a regular in this pub and have seen many changes whilst drinking in this area. The last manager was a disgrace to this pub! She is the reason behind the publicity in the papers! The ex-manager took no control and allowed any Tom, Dick or Harry in, thus causing complete chaos. Anyway after the place closed for two days to restaff there has been no trouble or problems. The new management and staff are a lot better, the place is doing food and is a lot cleaner too, and this is great for all the regulars as we have got our pub back. Please don't knock if you haven't tried it.

Best pub around since it reopened last year. Beer is good. Atmosphere is fun. Staff are friendly. Not a bit of trouble. Definitely recommend
