'The Commercial Inn' in James Street is back open again with a new sign, a lick of pinkish paint and an internal revamp.

The New Inn is closed and has recently been boarded up with steel shutters. This does not look good.

The White Hart Inn, Eccleshill
The White Hart Inn is back open under a new tenant. The place has had a clean up, has new signs and a repaint etc, - but I've not been in yet.

The 'Bar Me' premises has reopened as 'Mode'. Mode is an ID only, search-on-entry, smart casual nightclub - with an entrance fee.

Reopened as the Aurora - an Italian themed restaurant. So if you want a pint you'll have to go to 'The Junction'.

I agree with the last review. This *was* a nice pub but it shut down and has steel window shutters up now.

This pub was not called 'The Station Hotel' it was called 'The Railway' and it closed down a couple of years ago. The premises are now occupied by a bookmakers who moved in from next door to expand.
